Time is money… And slow connections cost!

Speeding up your internet connection could easily save you 5 or 10 minutes a day – doesn’t sound like much on its own, but multiplied over just a handful of staff that unproductive time adds up.

The Government is currently in the process of pouring $2billion into upgrading the nation to fibre that delivers Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB). Once you have UFB, you’ll be able to do things like online backups, remote office connections, VoIP and online conferencing faster than ever before. UFB is also more reliable as its infrastructure is all new, so there’s less downtime than existing copper connections.

Save big bucks on your landline.

If you have 2 or more phone lines in your office, switching from a standard landline plan to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) will save you a lot of money.

Failover internet if your connection goes down.

A much better bet is to get your IT provider to help you handle the shift; they can be on-site to enable a smooth transition and ensure there is a back-up connection to cover any period when your internet is down.

Most businesses rely on email to get on with their day-to-day operations, and more and more businesses are relying on cloud-based software such as Office365 too.

That being the case, it makes sense to have a single provider looking after your IT support and your internet connection. As well as giving you a single point of contact for both, you’ll get a more personalised service than if you leave your connection with a major telco.
