IT service company Ayone Computers has a fast-growing SME customer base and a reputation for sound, innovative, cost-effective IT solutions.
The Ayone Computers story began way back in 2003, when the business was founded by IT industry veteran, Greg Barber.
Greg started Ayone with the ambition to give small and medium businesses access to the kind of IT support that's usually only found in large organisations. His vision was for a team of expert outsourced IT specialists that could provide quality advice and support in a friendly, professional manner.

Meet the Team

Greg Barber
Owner / Director
With more than 25 years' experience in the IT industry, both in New Zealand and abroad, it’s pretty hard to stump Greg when it comes to technical curveballs.
Greg’s commitment to customer service means a call to Ayone’s North Shore IT helpdesk will always be answered by a friendly and knowledgeable professional, and that the solution that’s provided will work the first time. His partnerships with local industry suppliers and leading IT groups ensure the Ayone team is always up-to-date with the latest technology and software release.

Richard
Service Engineer
With ten years industry experience, Richard has worked in both corporate and SME’s, and has even owned his own IT Company.
He has outstanding diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and is our Microsoft Certified Microsoft365 security specialist.
From onsite IT support through to leading strategic IT initiatives, Richard’s technical knowledge and business acumen are a key benefit to customers.

Henri
Service Engineer
Henri’s career in IT began way back in the mid-90s. Since then he’s worked on various technology platforms, and is constantly updating his knowledge of industry innovations.
With more than 15 years’ experience helping businesses of all sizes – from start-up to corporate – grow and develop their IT systems, Henri says he gets a kick out of finding the best solution to a client’s IT problem.

Mat
Service Engineer
Mat is our resident communications guru. With eight years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, including six with a major internet provider, there’s not much he doesn’t know about voice and data connections.
As well as being an expert at troubleshooting and installing various data, voice, IP or PABX systems, Mat is highly experienced in managing and maintaining Windows systems and servers.

Michelle
Office Manager
Michelle is our office administrator and the person who keeps Ayone running efficiently. Like all great office administrators, she has exceptional organizational skills and a constantly positive outlook.
With more than 20 years of experience helping businesses and teams like ours, Michelle has a Jedi-like ability to know what needs doing to keep our operations (and team) running smoothly.

Chet
Service Engineer
Chet has a genuine interest in all things IT and a laser focus on providing fast, quality resolutions for our customers.
His technical skills include Windows operating systems and general hardware troubleshooting, along with expertise in 3CX PBX and cloud PBX, layer 2 and 3 networking Cisco and Mikrotik, Eftpos, and POS knowledge.

Jacques
Service Engineer
Jaques is our resident networking specialist.
He looks after Ayone’s own cloud hosted firewall, managed WAN and server infrastructure.
He also helps customers with their own network and other IT needs.
Jacques is certified in Fortinet, Watchguard and other networking products.

Kezley
Service Engineer
Kezley is a talented systems engineer who has joined us from MedTech where he was responsible for looking after their customers servers and IT.
He brings a great capacity for understanding medical services and servers to our team.
